Meike 50mm F2.0 – A cheap alternative to a compact 50mm prime for Fujifilm

Christopher Foley is a passionate street photographer, enjoying the Fujifilm cameras in combination with prime lenses. As he stated, the speed of autofocus is not relevant, while working on his projects in the streets he loves to manual focus his lenses.

The cheap Meike 50mm F2.0 manual focus lens is a very interesting budget ($89) alternative for those who enjoy to take their time in photography. As this lens comes with Fuji X mount, there is no need for an adapter, hence the very compact size of this setup.

This short, non-scientific, review might be useful in delivering some personal impressions, including a list of pros and cons while using this lens in real life situations.
