Fujifilm XF 80mm F2.8 Macro review

Coming back to Jordan Steele’s great reviews from Admiring Light, we have noticed the recently published article on the Fujinon XF 80mm F2.8 Macro lens. This is Fujifilm’s true macro lens, featuring the 1:1 magnification, along with the optical image stabilization and weather sealing in a robust body with amazing image quality, as Fujinon glass is naturally characterized.

The Fuji 80mm macro prime lens also features a linear motor system for fast autofocus, that may lose in speed as you focus up closer to your subject, for macro photography. It is no really a true inconvenience, as macro photography is about meticulous preparations.

The lens is extremely sharp right from its maximum aperture, across the entire frame and stopping it down brings even more sharpness, especially to the borders of the frame. Click on the link to read more and see some amazing images made with the XF 80mm F2.8 macro lens.
