Premium/ The same procedure each time…?

I plan the route, do some research, pack my bag, check my lenses, control the batteries and prepare some food before I start my adventures. It always makes my day when I succeed in managing all these things in order to enjoy a well planned trip to one of these awesome mountain peaks or to some of the well known places near my hometown in good old Austria.

Starting at dawn, still dark outside, not a soul to be seen – just me and my thoughts or some animals staring at me with their glowing eyes -just a result of my reflecting headlights. Catching the first sunbeams of the day is for sure the best way to free one’s mind. For this reason, it is more than necessary to own a camera with a handling you favour.

I live in Lower Austria, twenty kilometres south of Vienna. As a loving father of two girls (aged 2 and 5 years), I normally have little to no time to take a rest or come down in my daily routine. In my job as a physics and maths teacher in middle school, I must furthermore stay focused and concentrated all the time, so photographing is my way to unwind… I enjoy the diversity of nature and the possibility to immortalize the outstanding views I catch in unique pictures. What can be more rewarding than going out to explore new places or even watch natural spectacles?
