Premium/ Behind the Lens: Fujifilm Photo Adventures (VIDEO)
Mauricio Reis returned to the familiar shores of Figueira da Foz, Portugal, where he had captured many sunrises and sunsets over the years. As soon as he set foot on the serene banks of the Mondego River, memories flooded back of his photographic journey and the evolution of his equipment.

He reminisced about the days when he started out with a basic camera and gradually upgraded his gear as his passion for photography grew. Now, he was standing with his trusted companion, the Fujifilm X-T2 camera paired with the Fuji XF18-55mm lens. Despite its age, the camera had proven to be reliable time and again, capturing stunning images with each click of the shutter.

The tranquility of the location enveloped him as he set up his gear, preparing to capture the beauty of the salt pans and the mesmerizing long exposures from Cabedelinho. During this journey, he adjusted settings on his camera, switching between handheld shots and using a tripod coupled with a long exposure filter to achieve the desired effect.
Mauricio lost himself in the rhythm of his craft, focusing solely on the task at hand. With each shot, he sought to convey the peacefulness of the scene before him, the stillness broken only by the gentle wind and the characteristic sounds of seagulls.

Hours passed in a blur as Mauricio continued to capture the essence of the location through his lens, each photograph a testament to his skill and dedication.
As he made his way back along the familiar path, Mauricio couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction. Returning to this well-known location had reignited his passion for photography, reminding him of why he had embarked on this journey in the first place. And as he looked forward to future adventures, he knew that his trusty camera would be by his side, ready to capture whatever beauty lay ahead.
