Gorgeous photos. I’m looking forward to trying my X100F in Disney World parks. The last time I was there, I took the Ricoh GR. The size of the Ricoh was perfect. What I want, what I really want in a travel camera, is probably something closer to the new XF10 form factor with X100F lens/sensor/processor (yes, I’d rather have the 35mm effective focal length in a pocket size camera). I’d really want the Acros simulation, which is my favorite, in the pocket camera. I’d also really want front & rear command dials for quickly adjusting my exposure. I can live without the VF in a pocket camera. I can also live without video.

I have the X-T2 and a nice array of lenses but it’s the X100F that always seems to go with me. The only reason it’s not with me more often is, as small as it is, it’s still too much camera to carry around everywhere.

Back in the day, the Olympus XA spoiled me. I’d carry that and an extra roll of Tri-X. I suppose ultimately that’s the experience I long for in a digital camera.

Also have the XT2 + X100F, and the XT2 usually stays at home. Quick question; do you know if you can combine the X100F lens hood with a UV-filter? I have a UV filter attached, no rest without it.

I am using the Haoge lens hood with a UV filter. Works great.

I too carry the XT2 around and then purchased the RX100 VI, which I promptly dropped and its not in for repair. It too is a bit large for a pocket, and I did a flash back when you mentioned the Olympus XA.. is the X100F highly recommend in your estimation?
