About Gil Ribeiro

"Hi, I'm Gil Ribeiro, a Portuguese photographer based in Lisbon. Born in Brazil in 1981, I grew up in Lisbon and later studied cinematography in Germany, graduating in 2014 as a director of photography. Since then, I’ve worked as a DoP/Cameraman. In 2017 I embraced photography more seriously, developing a strong passion for street and documentary work. My filmmaking background brings depth and atmosphere to my images, where I aim to capture both the decisive moment and compelling visual stories."
