Tore van Dreumel

"I was born in Poland, I currently live in the Netherlands, and I feel at home both everywhere and nowhere. I first encountered photography as a child, watching my father develop photos using a Russian analog Zenit camera. I later “borrowed” that Zenit from him as a teenager, but we never really became friends. Over the years, I explored various fields of art, from writing, through experimental theatre and music, but eventually I let the complexities of adult life take control over my artistic ambitions. I returned to photography a few years ago, driven by the need to have something meaningful to do in the strange post-pandemic times. I caught the bug quickly, and now photography is one of my greatest passions (alongside cooking, eating, and sports), and I could talk about it for hours. Partly to spare my partner from having to listen to all of that, I started a blog where I write about photography, with the main goal of inspiring people to engage in creative activities."
